We're fundraising for MND NSW
We are taking up the challenge of MND NSW's Walk to d’Feet MND and need your support!
Like many unfortunately, my experience with MND is through three friends who have been afflicted with the disease over recent years. One passed away earlier this year, one is well into his 5th year battling the disease and the third is my best mate of 50years, who was diagnosed 18months ago.
I have witnessed first hand the suffering, exhaustion and mental toll that this incurable disease causes the person diagnosed, and also the emotional heartache it takes on their families and loved ones.
With unfortunately no cure insight, we need to raise funds urgently to continue vital research into the nature and incidence of MND and continue the battle to ultimately find a cure, especially as the incidence of MND appears to be rising across the country.
Whilst finding a cure is our end game, continued awareness and research will also help improve the quality of life for those who are suffering this disease.
